You and I just standing in line at our favorite cafe.
You ordered a coffee...the same as you always do with 3 extra sugars with some whipped cream today
Prechorus 1
You walked past me saw right past the masked me when you asked me if I wanted to sit down.
Chorus 1
And it felt like snow was fallin in May well ok I’ll be your man.
I looked outside and saw the rain watch it pour make me yours and let the storm rage
Verse 2
Driving down the highway. The only lights are the stars that guide us
Not a single sign in sight or traffic passing by
No bars on my cell phone, but all night I’ve been gettin signals.
I can’t stop lookin at you can’t keep my eyes on the night
Prechorus 2
We jump in the back seat radios blasting a fast beat and you asked me to never let go
Chorus 2
And it felt like snow was fallin in May. Well ok I’ll be your man.
I looked outside and saw the rain watch it pour make me yours and let the storm rage
Outro
But now Im just staring at a picture
a oil painted memory of of the past
The moment your blood red lips had whispered
Our love is like that sunset it was never meant to last
